WAYNE, New Jersey ------ Coming into Saturday afternoon's non-conference meet, the Brooklyn College women's swimming and diving team traveled on the road to face the William Paterson University Pioneers, while riding a five-game win streak. Unfortunately, the streak would come to and end, as the Bulldogs would drop the meet 102-76.
The Brooklyn College Bulldogs (6-4) maintain a winning record despite the loss, and the William Paterson University Pioneers (7-2) have now extended a win streak of their own to five.
Anastasia Kutuzov would shine through in Event 13's 100-yard Butterfly with a time of 1:05.94 to give Brooklyn a first place finish in that event.
Ayatallah Elkotby would win first place in Event 17 with a time of 1:37.89 in the 100-yard Backstroke.
Elizabeth Bailey came through in the 100-yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:23.55 in Event 23.
Up next, the Brooklyn College women's swimming and diving team will have to wait until after the new year to come home to face a conference opponent in the Lehman College Lightning on Friday, January 3rd at 6pm in the West Quad Pool.
