Women's Swimming & Diving

BC Women's Swim & Dive Places Eighth at Metros

Piscataway, NJ----The Brooklyn College women's swimming and diving team closed out the Metropolitan Swimming and Diving Championships on Sunday, finishing in 8th Place for the three-day event.  Division II Roberts Wesleyan won the 2025 championship meet followed by Sarah Lawrence, Baruch, Hunter, Mt. St. Mary, and John Jay.  Brooklyn finished ahead of SUNY Maritime.  

COMPLETE RESULTS 

Qualifying for the 200 backstroke final, Yara Shaik, finished in 12th place with a time of 2:37.72.  Elizabeth Bailey-Hamm took 9th place in the 100 freestyle final (57.15).  Antonietta Baerga came in fourth place in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:45.41.  Magdalena Mackiewicz placed fourth in the 3 meter dive with a score of 161.95.
