Brooklyn Wraps Up Conference Play with Road Win Over John Jay

Box Score Jamaica, NY---BC Men's Tennis cruised to an 8-1 conference victory past John Jay at York College on Monday.  Brooklyn wraps up CUNYAC play with a 4-1 record and improves to 8-6 overall with the win while the Bloodhounds drop to 2-2 and 2-7 respectively.  Next Up: Brooklyn returns to their non-conference slate at Ramapo College on Wednesday at 2pm.  

Ryan Sham and Craig Pazarecki gave BC their first win of the afternoon at No. 1 doubles, 8-2.  No. 3 doubles, Allen Mardakhayev and Mujibur Shaad, followed with an 8-1 victory.  Aymen Kuc and Ryan Badre-Hume completed the sweep of doubles with an 8-1 win at the No. 2 flight.  

Shaad would go on to win Brooklyn's first singles match of the day at No. 5, (6-1, 6-1).  Badre-Hume continued the shutout with a No. 4 flight singles victory, (6-0, 6-0).  Kuc also went undefeated on the day, roling to a (6-1, 6-1) win at the No. 2 flight.  Pazarecki followed at the No. 3 flight with a (6-2, 6-1) route.  Mardakhayev gave Brooklyn their final victory of the afternoon singles at the No. 6 flight, (6-0, 6-0).
