Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday, BC Men's Tennis seniors, Allen Mardakhayev and Ryan Sham, were named Academic All-District by the organization for their efforts in the classroom and court this season.  Earlier this month, Sham was named a First Team CUNYAC All-Star while Mardakhayev earned Second Team All-Star accolades.  It is also Mardakhayev's second straight year receiving Academic All-District honors.  Both helped lead Brooklyn to their second straight CUNYAC Championship match appearance to start the month of May.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
