Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference on Wednesday, the Brooklyn College men's tennis team has been picked third in the 2026 CUNYAC Men's Tennis Preseason Coaches Poll.  Baruch was picked to win the league followed by Hunter.  BC finished ahead of John Jay, Albertus Magnus, Lehman, and York.  In addition, James Walsh was named a Player to Watch this season. The Bulldogs are slated to open the 2026 Season at home on Friday, 3/13, at 2:30 pm against Thomas College.  

Last year's conference runner-up, Brooklyn finished with a 4-1 conference record and a 3-3 mark on their home courts.  Despite losing the bulk of their lineup to graduation, the Bulldogs return a number of players with postseason experience.  

Entering his first season of collegiate tennis, Walsh is expected to play towards the top of the lineup in both singles and doubles.
