Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the the City University of New York Athletic Conference on Tuesday, Brooklyn College senior, Allen Mardakhayev, was named the conference's Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending March 22.  Mardakhyev helped Brooklyn to a 2-0 record last week with both wins coming in CUNYAC play.  

The senior went undefeated in both singles and doubles in the two matches played.  On Thursday against York, he didn't lose a game in neither #1 doubles (6-0) nor #1 singles (6-0, 6-0).  He closed out the week with a 6-1 victory at #2 doubles and a (6-0, 6-1) win at #2 singles against Albertus Magnus on Saturday.  

Brooklyn Men's Tennis is back in action at home on Wednesday against the University of Mt. St. Vincent at 4pm.
