Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) on Wednesday, the Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball team was picked second in the 2026 Preseason Coaches Poll.  In addition, Brooklyn sophomore outside hitter, Saule Okeke-Ziburkus, was selected as a Player to Watch in the conference.  Brooklyn opens the 2026 Season at William Paterson University on September 1 at 6pm.

Last season's CUNYAC runner-up, BC finished with a 5-2 conference conference mark and an 8-3 record on their home court.  The 2026 Bulldogs will be led by Lauren Caiaccia who enters her first full season with the Bulldogs after taking the helm last year halfway through the 2025 campaign and guiding the team to the 2025 CUNYAC Championship match.  

Okeke-Ziburkus was named Second Team All-CUNYAC following a standout rookie campaign where she finished second on the team in kills and fifth in digs in 2025.
