     Nisbett has been a vital cog in the Bridges stellar men’s basketball season. Already sporting 15 wins, the team has its sights firmly set upon the CUNYAC title. During the month of January, Nisbett has averaged 20.3 points per game for a Bridges team that has been the conference’s most prolific scoring unit. Seven times this month, Nisbett has topped the 20-point plateau, including 32 points in a win at Medgar Evers College on January 23. He has been on fire from long distance of late, draining 18 of his last 34 three-pointers (52.9 percent).

     His stellar play has been recognized by the basketball community this month, as Nisbett was named to the Presto Sports / Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Weekly Honor Roll for the week of January 21. Coach Steve Podias notes that Nisbett “can score in so many different ways, but what really is impressive is how dynamic he can be on the defensive end of the floor.” A graduate of Michael J. Petrides High School on Staten Island, Nisbett is a sophomore Business Management major.
