Box Score
Brooklyn, NY---While Brooklyn College (10-3, 4-0 CUNYAC) and Medgar Evers College (0-14, 0-4 CUNYAC) entered tonight's game opposite one another in the CUNYAC's South Division standings, it was not easily discernable who the first place squad was over the first 20 minutes as BC only led by six in a highly contested first half.
The first place Brooklyn College men would not be upset on this night, however, as they outscored Medgar Evers by 17 in the second half to go on to win by a final of 88-65.
Daniel Nisbett (Michael J. Petrides / Staten Island, NY) led the way for BC with a game-high 33 points and a team-high of six boards.
Freshman guard
Amil John (South Shore / Brooklyn, NY) had a huge game for BC, notching 14 points and five steals, while
Ahmad Hemingway (Curtis / Brooklyn, NY) put in 16 points of his own.
Kallai Sharpe led the Cougars with 16 points and five assists in the loss.
Brooklyn will be off until Wednesday when they travel to John Jay to take on the defending CUNYAC Champions in a 7:00 pm tilt.
