Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday, Brooklyn College junior forward, Herbert Gary, was named to the organization's Academic All-District Team.  Gary helped the BC men's basketball team to a 9-5 CUNYAC record, a #2 seed in the conference championship tournament, and a CUNYAC Championship Tournament semifinal appearance this past season.

Gary sports a 3.66 GPA as a Physical Education major. The transfer from Bronx CC appeared in 26 games while making eight starts for BC this season.  He led the Bulldogs in offensive rebounds with 57 on the season.  Gary also led the team in field goal percentage, shooting 52.6% for the year.
