Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association on Tuesday, Brooklyn College sophomore guard, Joe Charles, earned an Honorable Mention by the organization with the release of this year's All-Met teams.  Charles helped lead the Bulldogs to a 9-5 conference record this season and a bye to the conference tournament semifinals.  All honorees will be recognized will be recognized at the 93rd Annual Haggerty Awards on April 23.  

In his second season with the Bulldogs, Charles led the team in a number of statistical categories including scoring (15.2 ppg), steals (53), and three-point makes (54).  He scored a career-high 34 points Brooklyn's CUNYAC Semifinal game against CCNY on February 25. Charles was named a First Team All-CUNYAC performer following the season.
