Jersey City, NJ --- The Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball Team (0-1, 0-0 CUNYAC) opened their 2009 season by dropping a straight-set decision to New Jersey City University.  The Knights took all three sets by scores of 30-15, 30-14, and 30-16.

Brooklyn received eight digs and seven assists from senior setter David Mayerson (North Woodmere, NY / Lawrence) and six digs with four kills from sophomore outside hitter David Choy (Brooklyn, NY / Telecommunications). 

The Bridges will next play on Monday evening, traveling to SUNY Purchase for a non-conference tilt.  The first serve is set for 7:00 pm
