Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference on Thursday, a pair of Bulldogs have earned CUNYAC Men's Volleyball postseason honors. Senior outside hitter,
Aaron Siu, received a Second Team All-Conference nod. In addition, fellow senior,
Tylar Pina, was selected for the conference's Sportsmanship Team. The pair helped lead Brooklyn to a 14-8 overall record an appearance in the CUNYAC Championship Tournament quarterfinals earlier this week.
Aaron Siu (Second Team All-Conference)
- Third straight CUNYAC All-Conference honor.
- Led the team and ranked eighth in the CUNYAC in kills with 164 on the season.
- Ranked second on the team in digs with 127 on the season.
- Ranked second on the team and third in CUNYAC with 46 service aces.
- Was named CUNYAC Player of the Week during the regular season.
- Put away a season-high 17 kills, served up three aces, and came up with 9 digs against St. Joseph's Brooklyn on 1/22.
Tylar Pina (Sportsmanship Team)
- Three-year member of the program.
- Worked his way into the regular rotation this past season, playing in a career-high 32 sets.
- Matched a single match career-high of five kills against Medgar Evers.
