Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team (0-1) were unable to take advantage of 17 first half turnovers by NYU-Poly (2-0) as they shot only a putrid 11-37 in the stanza, and dropped their opener, 72-63, on Thursday Evening.

Brooklyn was led by Priscilla Ramirez (FDR / Brooklyn, NY), who scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while NYU-Poly got game highs of 22 points and 14 boards from sophomore forward Margaux Pickell (Howell, Howell, NJ).

Brooklyn will look to get their first win this weekend as they travel to the Franklin & Marshall Tip-Off Tournament where they will face Elizabethtown on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
