Men's Volleyball Defeated by York

Brooklyn, NY --- The BC men's volleyball team (2-14, 2-11 CUNYAC) was dropped by York (11-12, 7-6 CUNYAC) in three games by scores of 25-30, 26-30, 28-30 tonight at the West Quad Gymnasium.

In what could have been their best match of the season, the Bulldogs were abel to keep the games close due to the consistant play of Guillermo Melosevich (Eastside / Belleville, NY) and Mohamed Taman (Valley Stream South / Valley Stream, NY). Melosevich had 28 assists and six digs on the night, while Taman led the Bulldogs in both kills and digs with 10 kills and eight digs. Taman also added two solo blocks and two block assists. His blocking partner was Mateusz Gotowicki (New Utrecht / Brookyn, Ny), who had a pair of solo blocks, three block assists, and gathered two kills.

The Cardinals were led by Brain Francisco (JFK / Bronx, NY), who led the team with 13 kills and added 16 digs. Setter Aruni Piantini (JFK / San Pedro de Macoris, DR) had 43 assists on the night.

Brooklyn will next face New Jersey City University on Monday, March 15 at 7:00 pm in the West Quad Gymnasium.
