Box Score vs. Baruch

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball Team dropped their first two conference matches of the season on Saturday as they fell in three sets to both Lehman (25-14, 25-15, 25-22) and Baruch (25-16, 25-11, 25-22) at the CUNYAC Multimatch hosted by Hunter College.

In the Lehman match, Alexander Shlivko paced BC with 10 kills, while Duong Thai chipped in with six kills.  Gene Tom led the way with 23 assists.

Shlivko notched a team-high 10 kills in the Baruch match as well, while Thai added nine kills and four digs.  Tom was again the leader with 24 assists.

"The guys are showing improvement," said Head Coach Michael Salak.  "We are starting to communicate more on the court and good things are coming as a result, but we still have lots of room for improvement."

The team will look for some home coooking in their next match as it will be the Bulldogs' home opener this Thursday, February 9th, against CUNYAC foe York College.  The 7 pm match will feature "White Out Night" as the first 200 fans in attendance will receive white Brooklyn College Bulldogs t-shirts.
