Box Score Jamaica, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball team dropped a straight sets match against the Cardinals of York College, 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-18), in City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) action on Wednesday evening on the road in Jamaica, NY.
With the loss, BC falls to an even 10-10 overall on the season and 6-5 in the CUNYAC; while York improves to 20-11 overall on the year and 8-2 in conference play.
Sophomore
David Dimitruk led the Bulldogs with nine kills, while junior
Timothy Hui filled up the stat sheet finishing the night with seven kills, nine assists and 10 digs. Senior
Christopher Valverde dished out 11 assists, while freshman
Ricky Myint added a match-high 13 digs.
For the Cardinals, Avinash Thomas recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 11 assists, while Leszek Stankiewicz also registered 10 kills posting a solid .643 hitting percentage. Jon Peter Sardea paced the offense with a match-high 18 assists, while Terrence Sutton contributed with 12 digs.
Brooklyn will be back in action this Saturday, March 30th, as the Bulldogs will take on Medgar Evers College (1:00 pm) and Hunter College (3:00 pm) as part of a CUNYAC multi-match that will be held at Nat Holman Gymnasium on the campus of CCNY.
