Box Score 2 New York, NY --- At the final City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Men's Volleyball multi-match of the season on Saturday at ARC Arena on the campus of Baruch College, the Brooklyn College Bulldogs split its matches falling to Hunter College, 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-20), and defeating Medgar Evers College, 3-0 (25-13, 25-9, 25-11).
BC moves to 14-12 overall on the year and 7-6 in CUNYAC play.
Against Hunter, Brooklyn was led by junior
Mihail Osipov and sophomore
Antony Koyfman, as the duo finished with eight kills each. Senior
Timothy Hui added 19 assists, while sophomore
Ricky Myint chipped in with 11 digs.
In the win against Medgar Evers, the Bulldogs were led by Koyfman who tallied a match-best 10 kills, while hitting a solid .643. Koyfman also added five total blocks. Juniors
Vaughn Ford (1.000) and Osipov (.571) and senior
Lucas Moline (.444) all finished with five kills each. Hui once again paced the offense with 21 assists, while junior
David Dimitruk totaled eight service aces in the match.
For Medgar Evers, Ronald Bonhomme, Jamal Chance and Austin Crawford all posted three kills each. Adiel Ramos Munoz dished out nine assists.
Brooklyn will be back in action this Tuesday, April 1st, as the Bulldogs will host the Beavers of the City College of New York (CCNY) in the final CUNYAC match of the season. The match is scheduled for a 6:00 pm start at the West Quad Center.
