Union, NJ --- The Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball team opened its 2015 season at the Kean University Winter Classic, held on Friday and Saturday, January 16th and 17th at Harwood Arena.
On Friday, BC opened the classic by dropping a pair of games against two of the top teams in the country, falling to both Endicott College and host Kean in straight sets. Endicott is currently receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Men's Coaches Top-15 Preseason Poll, while Kean is currently ranked 6th in the same poll.
The Bulldogs would conclude the classic on Saturday with another pair of losses in straight sets, losing to Hunter College and Johnson & Wales University.
Leading Brooklyn was
Moaz Ali Choudhary, who finished with four kills over the weekend.
Kevin Bautista dished out four assists, while
Dmitriy Brener racked up 14 digs.
BC will return to action on Tuesday, January 27th, as Brooklyn will host Purchase College for the Bulldogs' 2015 home opener. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 pm start time at the West Quad Center.
