Women's Soccer Wins Final Conference Game, 10-0 Over Medgar

Box Score Brooklyn, NY --- The Women's soccer team defeated Medgar Evers 10-0 to complete their conference schedule. The win brings the women to 4-10-2 overall, and 3-1-2 in the CUNYAC, while Medgar Evers stands at 0-12, 0-6 CUNYAC.     

The Bulldogs got off to an early start with Stefany Ibarra scoring six minutes into the first half unassisted. Jasmine Fermin followed with an unassisted goal of her own at the 15:40 mark. Jordan Kerwin scored at 19:24 on an assist from Selene Ahuatl.

Shani Nakhid-Schuster converted a penalty kick in the 24th minute from that point the remainder of the game was a formality. The Bulldogs scored nine of their ten goal by the 39th minute. Jazmin Fermin registered a hat trick with the 39th minute goal.

The Brooklyn College women have secured the #3 seed in the upcoming CUNYAC tournament, with their ownly loss in conference play coming to the #1 seed, Lehman. 
 
The Bulldogs next match will be against Maritime College on October 30th at 7pm. This game should be an excellent test leading up to the CUNYAC Championship Semifinals on November 5th, where Brooklyn will face rival Staten Island, the #2 seed.
