Box Score Brooklyn, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball team dropped its 2015 home opener on Tuesday night against the visiting Panthers of Purchase College in straight sets.
Rudy Zhao led the Bulldogs with five kills and four digs, while also adding a solo block.
Kevin Bautista dished out six assists.
For Purchase, Kevin Carges recorded a match-high 15 kills, while Kevin Egbert paced the offense with 14 assists. Matthew McCarthy chipped in with six digs. As a team, the Panthers racked up 20 aces, led by five from Griffin Rapp.
Brooklyn will return to action this Saturday, February 7th, as the Bulldogs will take on the Lightning of Lehman College and Baruch College in the first of four City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) multi-matches. John Jay College of Criminal Justice will serve as host of the multi-match for the day, as BC will take on Lehman at 11:00 am before taking on Baruch at 3:00 pm.
