Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 New York, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball team opened up City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) play on Saturday at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in the first of four CUNYAC multi-matches this season, as the Bulldogs dropped straight sets matches to Lehman College and Baruch College.

In the first match of the day against the Lightning, BC was led by Rudy Zhao and Shawn Varghese, as the duo each tallied six kills apiece. Zhao also dished out five assists, to go with two aces, while Moaz Ali Choudhary also recorded a pair of aces, to go with three blocks.

For Lehman, Robert Ventura Diaz posted a match-high 10 kills, while Carlos Segura added seven kills. Jose Bautista chipped in with 14 digs, while Emmanuel Ortiz paced the offense with 24 assists.

In the second match of the day against the Bearcats, Baruch used 24 aces to down Brooklyn, led by nine from Scott Standring. Standring also dished out 19 assists.

The Bulldogs are back in action this Wednesday, February 11th, as Brooklyn will travel to borough rival St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) for a non-conference matchup. The match is scheduled for a 7:00 pm start time.
