Box Score Brooklyn, NY --- In a battle of Bedford Avenue teams, the Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball team fell to the Cougars of Medgar Evers College in straight sets on Thursday evening at the West Quad Center in City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) action.

Vaughn Ford and Shawn Varghese each tallied seven kills in the match, while Yeiky Rivera and Moaz Ali Choudhary helped paces the offense with seven and five assists, respectively. Rivera, Varghese, Choudhary and Ian Miranda each recorded seven digs in the match as well.

Leading the Cougars was Jamal Chance who finished the night with a match-high 12 kills, to go with three aces, and two block assists. Chance also chipped in on the defensive side with eight digs. Denzel Williams added nine kills and 11 digs, while Angel Seda dished out 20 assists. Seda also contributed with six aces and nine digs to his stat line.

The third set saw back-and-forth action throughout as the teams combined for nine ties and five lead changes. However, a key 4-0 run late in the match for Medgar Evers would eventually help the visitors put the match away in straight sets.

Brooklyn returns to action on Tuesday, March 24th as the Bulldogs will hit the road to take on the Hawks of Hunter College in CUNYAC action. The match is scheduled for a 6:00 pm start time.
