Box Score Brooklyn, NY---After struggling to score goals in the start to the 2015 season, the BC Women's Soccer team had their best offensive output of the year, downing visiting CCNY 6-0 at Brooklyn College Field on Wednesday afternoon. The win was the Bulldogs' first on the season in conference play, while the team improved to 2-3-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the CUNYAC. CCNY fell to 0-7-1, 0-1-1.
Jordan Kerwin got Brooklyn the scoring started for Brooklyn in the first half, taking a feed from
Leslie Gomez and finding the back of the net for the 1-0 lead.
Jasmine Fermin connected on a score minutes later to give BC a 2-0 lead.
Both Kerwin and Fermin would convert on second half goals as well for the Bulldogs. Kerwin also assisted on Fermin's second half tally, while Fermin assisted on a first half score by Natasha Lynch.
Kenia Bravo also got on the board with a second half goal, taking a nice feed from
Stefany Ibarra.
The Brooklyn defenders were tough all day as well, not allowing a single shot for the Beavers.
Brooklyn will head to Atlanta this weekend where they will take on Emory University and Berry College in non-conference contests.
