Box Score St. Louis, MO---The BC men's volleyball fell in their first match of the season at NAIA Division I reigning national champions and current No. 1 Missouri Baptist University this evening 0-3.  BC will continue their Midwest trip on Saturday at Fontbonne University.  The Bulldogs will play a tri-match against the host school at 5:00 PM CT and Greenville College at 7:00 PM CT.

The Bulldogs held tough in the first set against the college volleyball power, losing 25-19.  However, the Spartans would live up to their preseason No. 1 ranking in front of their home crowd, winning the next two sets 25-8 and 25-9.  

Sophomore middle hitter, Rudy Zhao, led the Bulldogs with four kills and four digs.  

Sophomore opposite side hitter Patrick Yoo and freshman outside hitter Vaughn Titus each finished with three digs on the evening.  Titus also had a kill in the match. 

Sophomore setter Kevin Bautista did a little bit of everything on the evening finishing with a kill on four total attacks, five assists, and a couple of digs.
