Women's Basketball Earns No. 2 Seed for ECAC Tourney; Hosts No. 3 Neumann on Wednesday

Brooklyn, NY----Released this afternoon, the Brooklyn College women's basketball team earned the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship tournament and will host No. 3 seed Neumann University (18-8) on Wednesday, March 1, in the Regional Round at the West Quad Center on the Brooklyn College Campus. Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm.  Winner will advance to the Quarterfinal Round hosted by No. 1 seed Carnegie Mellon on Friday. 

TOURNAMENT BRACKET AND INFORMATION

The Bulldogs enter this year's tournament with a 21-6 record and their third straight CUNYAC Championship appearance last Friday. Brooklyn has won the past two ECAC Metro/Upstate Championships prior to the tournament being reformatted this season.  

Neumann enters Wednesday's matchup with an 18-8 overall record included a 13-3 mark in CSAC play.  The Knights fell to eventual CSAC champ, Gwynedd Mercy, 88-69, in their conference tournament semifinal last Wednesday.
