Taylor George's 19 points, the Brooklyn College Bulldogs opened the 2018-2019 season at home with a 68-58 win over visiting Kean. For Brooklyn, it was the third straight year the team has started the season by defeating Kean, who last won this annual meeting back in the 2015-16 season.
How it Happened
- Kean opened the game's scoring with a three-pointer by Payce Lange, but consecutive buckets by Jasmine Hansgen and Michelle Pena gave Brooklyn a 4-3 advantage, and while Kean would tie the game at 7, the Bulldogs would never trail, and lead by as many as 17 in the third quarter to claim their first win of the year.
