Bulldogs Cruise to Second Straight, Flying By Lightning 90-39

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn Women dominated from start to finish in their second consecutive win, both overall and in league play, downing visiting Lehman 90-39.  Brooklyn improves to 8-4, 3-0 CUNYAC with the win, while Lehman falls to 1-12, 1-3 CUNYAC.  Brooklyn will be back in action on Saturday as they travel across the Verrazano to take on the College of Staten Island at 1 pm.

How it Happened
  • The Bulldogs led from start to finish in this one as they immediately grabbed a 12-0 lead.  After a Lehman three-point play, Brooklyn scored the next 10 points of the quarter to grab a 22-3 lead after one.
  • Brooklyn led by as much as 55, after a three-pointer by Megan Jajeh with 12 seconds to play in the third quarter.
Box Score Breakdown
  • BC dominated the boards, 64-35, while also dishing out 19 assists as a team.
  • The bench scoring was also lopsided as the hosts outscored their guests 43-4.
  • The Bulldogs also hit a season-high 17 threes.
