Chanel Jemmott, would be named the game's MVP for the second time of her career finishing with 14 points and a game-high 24 rebounds. Brooklyn improves to 21-6 heading into the NCAA Division III Tournament while Hunter moves to 16-11. The Bulldogs will now await their First Round NCAA Tournament opponent, which will be announced this Monday.

- Clinging to a 51-48 lead with 4:00 to go in regulation, freshman guard, Ericka James, scooped home a clutch lay-up giving Brooklyn a two-possession advantage. Freshman guard, Sarah James, sealed the win with her sixth three of the contest, giving BC a 56-48 lead with just under two minutes to go. Brooklyn sealed the championship victory at the charity stripe in the game's final minute.
- After Hunter scored the first bucket of the game, Sarah James went on an 8-0 run of her own sparked by back-to-back three-point makes.
