Box Score Jamaica, NY---On Tuesday, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team cruised to an 8-0 win at York College on the road. Brooklyn improves to 3-6-2 overall with the victory while the Cardinals drop to 1-7.  Next Up: BC will look to keep their momentum going on Saturday as they open CUNYAC play with a key conference match at Lehman College at 12pm.  

How It Happened

• BC didn't waste much time getting on the board first, scoring in 8' on a Zasu Alvarez goal assisted by Audrey Jane Young.  
• Young would assist Gianna DiPronio on BC's second goal of the match ten minutes later. Young would score her first of two goals on the afternoon in 21'.  
• Brooklyn took a 4-0 halftime lead on an Imani Dickens goal assisted by Shakhzoda Isomidinova.  
• The Bulldogs continued their offensive dominance in the second half with junior midfielder, Sage Bernstein joining the scoring party in 72' to give Brooklyn a 6-0 lead.  
• Julissa Chino and Chelsea Gonzalez.

• Young finished with six points on 2 goals and 2 assists. 
• DiPronio had five points on 2 goals and an assist. 
• Gonzalez finished with three points on a goal and an assist
• Isomidinova dished out three assists on the afternoon. 
• Freshman goalie, April Hartje, earned her second shutout win, finishing with 3 saves.
