Galloway, NJ---Participating in the NCAA Regional Championships for the first time in program history, the Brooklyn College men's cross country team placed 17th out of 26 Metro Region scoring teams at Stockton University on Saturday.  Brooklyn closes out the season with a strong showing in championship meets, placing third at CUNYAC Championships and the strong showing among some of the nation's best squads.  

MEET RESULTS 

For the Bulldogs

• In his final meet with Brooklyn, Frank Ferrante led the way like he did all season, placing 66th out of 186 runners with a time of 27:09.8 on the 8K course.  
• Azizjon Sharifov finished second for BC and 93rd overall with a time of 28:13.3. 
• Yasin Gordon earned the Brooklyn bronze and placed 133rd with a time of 30:11.1.  
• Dexter Weiner followed Gordon, finishing 144th overall with a time of 31:22.5. 
• Joshua Diogene came in fifth for BC and 158th overall with a time of 33:04.5. 
• In his final meet with the Bulldogs, Wali Mohammad, came in 168th overall with a time of 35:00.3.
