Brooklyn Women's Basketball Picked to Win Sixth Straight CUNYAC Title; Kitch - Player to Watch

Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference on Tuesday, Brooklyn College was picked to win their sixth straight CUNYAC title with the release of the CUNYAC Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll.  In addition, BC junior guard, Anna Kitch, was selected as a Player to Watch in the conference this season.

The Bulldogs won their fifth straight conference title under Head Coach, Megan Campbell, who enters her third year at the helm of the program.  Last season, the Bulldogs finished with a 17-12 overall record while making their fifth straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.  

Entering her third season with BC, Kitch earned First Team All-CUNYAC accolades last year.  She averaged a near double-double on the season with 11.8 ppg and 9.5 rpg.  She also led the CUNYAC in three-point makes per game (2.5).  

Brooklyn opens the 2025-26 campaign on Friday, November 7, at Sarah Lawrence at 7pm.
