The junior captain has helped the Bulldogs to a 1-1 split overall and in CUNYAC to start the 2016-17 season.  Despite a home opening loss to reigning CUNYAC champs, CSI, Tanritanir earned the Bulldogs a number of points by finishing fourth in 50 yard freestyle final, third in the 100 yard backstroke final, and anchored a 200 freestyle relay foursome that finished in second-place to end the evening.  Tanritanir closed out the month by helping the Bulldogs to their first dual meet win of the season at York.  He finished in first place in every individual event he participated in and in first place in both relay events he swam in.
