Brooklyn College Athletics

Jenna Ferrara has been a leading contributor to the Brooklyn College Women’s Softball team over the season’s first week. Hitting a team-best .533 in the team’s first six games, Ferrara had her best day on March 31 in a doubleheader win over the College of New Rochelle. Going five-for-five over the two games, Ferrara knocked a pair of doubles and a home run. She also had her first three RBIs of the season in that twin bill. First year Head Coach Pete Grillo has been impressed with his starting shortstop, noting that “Jenna plays with intensity and a lot of heart. Her enthusiasm is contagious.”

A sophomore Physical Education Major, Ferarra was a two-sport standout at James Madison High School (softball and swimming).
