Box Score New York, NY---Taking the lead for good on their first offensive possession, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team won their third straight conference game at CCNY this evening, 69-59, to improve to 3-2 in CUNYAC. The Bulldogs move to 3-10 overall on the season while the Beavers drop to 0-13 on the season. BC returns home on Thursday, January 11th, to host York College in the night cap of a conference doubleheader at the West Quad Center. Tip-off is set for 7:15 pm.
How It Happened
-Beginning with a three-point make drained by sophomore guard, Michael Tesoriero, on BC's first offensive possession, the Bulldogs continued to build their lead through the first half, heading into halftime with a 40-22 advantage following a lay-in finished by sophomore forward David Melman just as time expired.
-The Beavers would cut the Bulldog lead to as few as four points, 57-53, with 5:32 left in regulation, but a three-point make shot by senior guard Maynard Grant IV and a layup finished by senior guard
Niv Konfino, pushed the Bulldogs' lead back up to nine, with 3:38 to go in the contest.
