Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) on Monday, Brooklyn College sophomore forward, Emir Imamberdiev, was named the conference's Player of the Week and freshman forward, Andrew Gavrilov, received an Honorable Mention with the release of this week's Men's Soccer Weekly Awards. The duo earned the honors for their efforts in a pair of conference wins on the week and helping the Bulldogs clinch their first CUNYAC Regular Season title since 1981.  

Helping lead Brooklyn to a 2-0 mark in conference play, Imamberdiev scored two goals and had a pair of assists in the two matches played.  He scored the eventual game-winner in Brooklyn's 3-0 shutout of CCNY on Wednesday at home before scoring the first goal of the match and assisting on the next two goals in the Bulldogs' 3-1 victory at York on Saturday.  

Named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week last week, Gavrilov scored three goals on the week, helping Brooklyn to a pair of conference victories.  On Wednesday, he netted two goals in Brooklyn's 3-0 victory over CCNY at home before scoring the game-winning goal at York on Saturday.  

The Bulldogs close out their regular season at Lehman College on Wednesday, 10/22, at 6:30 pm.
