Newburgh, NY---On Sunday, the Brooklyn College women's swimming and diving team captured their first victory of the season by taking First Place at the Mt. St. Mary Invitational. Brooklyn racked up 423 points on the day, the host were the runners up with 247 points, SUNY Delhi placed third with 90 points, and York was fourth with 22 points. Next Up: Brooklyn will look to continue their dominant start at St. Joseph's Long Island on Tuesday, 11/25, at 6pm.
Brooklyn began the meet by taking the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:42.72.
Antonietta Baerga won the 100 and 200 breaststroke events.
Elizabeth Bailey-Hamm won the 200 individual medley and finished second in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.
Yara Shaik finished second in the 100 and 200 backstroke.
The Bulldogs closed out the meet by winning the 400 freestyle relay.
