Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association on Tuesday, Brooklyn College senior center, Sheily Quezada, earned NCAA Division II/III Honorable Mention for her efforts last week.  It is her first honor from the organization so far this season. 

The senior center averaged 18.5 ppg, 12.0 rpg, and 4.0 bpg in a pair of CUNYAC wins for the Bulldogs last week.  In Friday's win over John Jay at home on Friday, she scored a season-high 26 points, grabbed 12 boards, and blocked 4 shots.  She began the week by scoring 11 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and blocking 4 shots in BC's key conference victory at Hunter on Wednesday.  

The Bulldogs are back in action in conference play at York on Wednesday, January 21, at 5pm.
