Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Men's Basketball Team (2-3, 0-1 CUNYAC) dropped their home opener as York College (2-4, 1-0 CUNYAC) came from behind to pull off a thrilling, 68-67 victory to start the conference season.

Marcel Osonwune (Marist Brothers / Lagos, Nigeria) was huge for the Cardinals, scoring 25 points, while grabbing 23 boards.

Richard Jean-Baptiste (St. John's Prep / Queens, NY) led Brooklyn with 17 points and 7 rebounds, while Amil John (South Shore / Brooklyn, NY) scored 14 points in only 24 minutes of play.

Daniel Nisbett (Petrides / Staten Island, NY) chipped in with 11 before fouling out of the contest with 2:31 remaining.

Brooklyn will travel to Staten Island on Thursday, where they will look to even their CUNYAC record against the Dolphins.
