Brooklyn, NY----With the announcement of the CUNYAC Men's Basketball Weekly Awards on Monday, Brooklyn College junior guard, Abdoulaye Gueye, earned an Honorable Mention for his efforts on the court last week in a pair of Brooklyn victories in CUNYAC play.  It is the first conference weekly honor of Gueye's career.

Gueye had a career week in a pair of CUNYAC wins for Brooklyn.  He averaged 18.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg, and 2.5 apg.  On Wednesday he scored a career-high 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the Bulldogs' overtime win over Baruch (their first since 2020).  He closed out his week with 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in Brooklyn's 76-74 over Medgar Evers on Friday.  

The Bulldogs contiune their conference slate Hunter on Wednesday, January 14, at 7pm.
