Brooklyn, NY---With the announcement of the CUNYAC Women's Swimming and Diving weekly awards on Tuesday, Brooklyn College freshman, Antonietta Baerga, was named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week for her efforts last week. It is her first honor of its kind for the season.  

Baerga won the 100 breaststroke (1:18.05) , took second in the 50 breaststroke (36.03) and placed third in the 100 individual medley (1:15.49) in Brooklyn's regular season finale at Division II College of Staten Island on Wednesday.  

The Bulldogs will compete in the 2026 CUNYAC Championships this weekend (January 30-February 1) at Lehman College.
