Five Bulldogs Earn CUNYAC Women's Basketball Postseason Honors, Campbell Named Coach of the Year

Brooklyn, NY----With the announcement of the 2025-26 CUNYAC Women's Basketball Postseason awards on Thursday, Brooklyn College third-year Head Coach, Megan Campbell, was named Coach of the Year, junior guard, Brianna Jackson, and senior forward, Anna Kitch, were voted First Team All-Conference, and senior guard, Dior Dorsey, received a Second Team All-Conference nod. In addition, senior guard, Sandra Diaz, was selected for the conference's Sportsmanship Team.  All five have helped Brooklyn to a 22-3 (14-0 CUNYAC) record, a regular season conference title, and an automatic bye to the CUNYAC Championship Tournament Semifinals.  

Megan Campbell (Coach of the Year)


Notables/Highlights
  • Second time receiving the honor in her third season at the helm of the program. 
  • 22-3 overall record (14-0 CUNYAC). Team captured second Regular Season title under her guidance. 
  • Team earned a No. 4 regional ranking (Region 4) by the close of the regular season. 
  • BC had a 15-game win-streak heading into their first game of the CUNYAC Championship Tournament. 
  • Brooklyn surpassed 20 wins for the first time since the 2021-22 campaign. 
  • Team led the conference in offense (78.3 ppg), defense (52.8 ppg), and margin (25.4 ppg).  
Brianna Jackson (First Team All-CUNYAC)

Notables/Highlights
  • Led the team and ranked 8th in the conference in scoring (12.6 ppg). 
  • Led the conference and ranks second in the nation in assists (172).  
  • Led the team and ranks third in the conference in steals (93).  
  • Dished out double digits in assists six times on the regular season.  
  • Scored a season-high 19 points in a conference win over John Jay on 2/11.  
  • Named CUNYAC Player of the Week and earned a pair of Met Basketball Writer Association Honorable Mentions during the regular season.  
Anna Kitch (First Team All-CUNYAC)

Notables/Highlights
  • Second straight season earning First Team All-Conference honors. 
  • Led the team and ranked third in CUNYAC in rebounds (247). Averaged 9.9 rebounds per game during the regular season. 
  • Second on the team in scoring (11.7 ppg). 
  • Led the team and ranked sixth in CUNYAC in three-point field goals (37). 
  • Had nine double-doubles for the regular season.  
  • Scored a season-high 28 points against Kean on 11/18. 
  • Earned a CUNYAC Honorable Mention for the week during the regular season.  
Dior Dorsey (Second Team All-CUNYAC)

Notables/Highlights
  • Four-year member of the program, first season earning CUNYAC All-Conference honors. 
  • Third on the team in scoring (10.0 ppg). 
  • Third on the team in rebounding (5.3 rpg). 
  • Second on the team in steals (62).  
  • Scored a season-high 19 points in a conference win over John Jay on 2/11. 
  • Grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds in a conference win over John Jay on 1/16. 
Sandra Diaz (Sportsmanship Team)

Notables/Highlights
  • Four-year member of the program, first season earning CUNYAC Postseason honors. 
  • Finished season with 27 assists in 18 games played.
