Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) on Tuesday, Brooklyn College forward, Nikala Metreveli, was named the conference's Player of the Week and freshman forward, Andrew Gavrilov, received a Rookie of the Week with the release of this week's Men's Soccer Weekly Awards. The duo earned the honors for their efforts in a pair of conference matches played this week.  It is Metreveli's third Player of the Week honor so far this season while Gavrilov collects his third Rookie of the Week award.   

Metreveli racked up 7 points in the two matches played.  He assisted on the game-winner in the Bulldogs' 2-1 win over John Jay on Wednesday on the road before scoring a hat-trick in the first half at home in Brooklyn's 6-0 victory over York on Saturday.  

Gavrilov totaled 8 points in the two matches played.  He scored the game-winner in the Bulldogs' 2-1 win over John Jay on Wednesday on the road before scoring a hat-trick in the first half at home in Brooklyn's 6-0 victory over York on Saturday.  

The Bulldogs continue conference play at home on Wednesday, 10/15, against CCNY at 4pm.
