Brooklyn, NY----With the announcement of the CUNYAC Women's Basketball Weekly Awards on Monday, Brooklyn College junior guard,
Brianna Jackson, was named the conference's Player of the Week. Jackson is the first Bulldog to earn an award of its kind so far this season.
Averaging 13.0 ppg, 7.0 apg, and 4.3 spg in three games played on the week,
Brianna Jackson scored a season-high 17 points, dished out 11 assists, and came up with 4 steals in Brooklyn's CUNYAC victory at Lehman on Thursday. She closed out the week by scoring a team-high 14 points and coming up with 6 steals against #1 New York University on Saturday. Jackson currently leads the conference in assists.
The Bulldogs are on break until playing in the Steel City Classic hosted by Moravian University (December 29-30).
